Just Psychology is dedicated to providing a team of highly trained, experienced and caring professionals working together to provide quality psychological services.  Latest clinical approaches are used to improve the mental health and overall wellbeing of clients in a way that maintains their integrity and complete confidentiality.  Our psychologists adhere to and are guided by the ethical and professional standards outlined by the Australian Psychology Society (APS) and Psychology Registration Board of NSW.

Kristy Ross, Principal Clinical Psychologist
B. Psych (Honours), M. Psych (Clinical), MAPS


Kristy is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

She has completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology and has over 10 years of clinical experience.  As a Director of Just Psychology, Kristy is passionate about private practice and providing integrated care to clients who seek advice and treatment for a broad range of mental health issues.  She provides both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to adults and adolescents.

Kristy is a mother of three young children and has a keen interest in perinatal mental health, Post Natal Depression (PND) and anxiety.  Kristy is passionate about assisting pregnant women and new parents in adapting to this significant change in their life.  Kristy is also involved in the provision of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling and working with individuals who are seeking to improve their overall lifestyle.

Kristy is very approachable with a warm personality and has a genuine interest in assisting her clients to improve and maintain their emotional wellbeing.

Kristy is a registered Medicare, ATAPS, and WorkCover provider.

Jackie Kingston, Principal Psychologist

Jackie is a Registered Psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Jackie has over 8 years of experience working with adults in a therapeutic setting, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of conditions including depression and anxiety. She is experienced and trained in the delivery of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  Jackie is also experienced and qualified to administer and interpret psychological assessments including cognitive testing in school settings.

As a Director of Just Psychology, Jackie is driven to provide quality psychological care to a broad range of clients.

Jackie is caring and demonstrates utmost consideration for her client’s wellbeing. She continues to learn and adopt the latest therapeutic approaches of evidence-based treatment, which assists in providing the best possible treatment for her clients.

Lauren Templeman, Psychologist

Lauren is a Registered Psychologist and associate member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Lauren specialises in a counselling role, assisting adults to address a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and relationship difficulties.  Lauren works to create a comfortable and safe environment for her clients through warmth and compassion, allowing clients to feel well supported through the therapeutic process.

Therapy is tailored for each individual client depending on their specific need and goals and Lauren utilises both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as part of her approach.  Lauren is passionate about assisting and supporting her clients and regularly engages in training and development opportunities to ensure the best treatment for her clients.

Rudolf Stork, Psychologist

I believe that we all have the ability to make changes to our lives and to ourselves, leading us to live a more content and happy life. These changes are not always easy to make and I believe that it is my role as a psychologist to help my clients discover the tools that can identify and facilitate these changes.
I have experience working with a diverse range of people facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, stress, and grief and lost. I have worked with adults, young people, couples, the LGBTQ community as well as members from many different ethnic backgrounds.
As an applied positive psychologist, I draw on and develop positive approaches to my practice. I believe that a solution-focused approach as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach help my clients make solid changes leading outcomes that are long lasting. I engage in collaborative sessions with clients to build trust and motivation for success and am able to help them reach their goals and enhance their everyday lives.

Louise Butler, Psychologist
BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clin), MAPS


Louise is a Registered Psychologist, a Member of the Australian
Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Clinical Psychology
Association (ACPA). Louise has completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical
Psychology and is a registered Medicare provider.

Louise is a very friendly, open-minded and easy-going person who is
passionate about supporting her clients in improving their emotional
wellbeing.  Louise is experienced in providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
(CBT), Trauma-focused CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness,
Interpersonal Psychotherapy and grief therapy. Through collaboration with
each client, Louise tailor’s her therapeutic approach to meet their specific

Louise has experience and is passionate about working with clients in a
variety of areas, including:

  • Assisting children, adolescents and adults to cope with a broad range of issues including depression, trauma, generalised and social anxiety, panic and agoraphobia, grief and health issues;
  • Assisting children and teenagers who are experiencing difficulties at school with anxiety, depression, anger, bullying, drug and alcohol use and complex behaviours. Louise collaborates with the client, their family and the school to assist in gaining a better outcome for the client;
  • Facilitating adjustment to difficult life events such as trauma, relationship difficulties (eg, separation and divorce), serving in the military, and ante-natal and post-natal issues (eg, IVF, postnatal depression and step-family issues);
  • Supporting children, teenagers and adults who have been involved with the foster care and adoption systems.

Louise has vast experience in providing intensive support for individuals
and families who have been involved in the child protection and out of home
care systems where mental health, drug use, and self-harming behaviours are
common. Louise is also experienced in working within the mental health,
education, and criminal justice systems and is well placed to support
clients in their journey through these institutions.

James Ross, Business Manager


James manages day-to-day operations as well as business development and strategy.

James is passionate about creating a best-practice approach to clinical psychological care in an integrated care environment for the benefit of the community.  To create an environment where psychologists can be successful, stimulated and motivated whilst getting the support they need providing counselling to their clients.

James is also very interested in innovative therapeutic approaches to leverage technology to meet the needs of those clients who want greater convenience and an alternative medium for counselling.  This includes providing services to people who are based in regional and remote communities and have limited access to quality psychological care.

James also oversees our quality assurance to ensure that Just Psychology continues to provide services to the highest professional standards.
